Fried Sweet Atayef (Kataif)

Description

Atayef, is a delicious, fragrant and beautiful Lebanese pancake stuffed with sweet cheese filling and ground pistachios. Drizzled with simple syrup mixed with Lebanese imported rose water.

What is Atayef made of?

Atayef is essentially a delicious pouch or cone! The traditional recipe is made of three components:

• The outside layer of Atayef, which is similar to a pancake!
• The stuffing is made with pistachios or walnuts.
• Fried and bathed in simple syrup with a hint of rose water.
